Please take a moment to review our Spectator Code of Conduct :

  • Support all players — Cheer for effort, not just results. Celebrate the little things: a good pass, hustle on defense, or a smart play.

  • Respect coaches, referees, and staff — They’re here to help kids grow and enjoy the game, they will make mistakes just as players will.

  • Stay positive from the stands — Keep ‘sideline’ coaching to a minimum, criticism, or negative comments. Let the game be the kids’ moment. We can cheer without putting the opponent down.

  • Model good sportsmanship — Win or lose, show grace and encourage your child to do the same.

  • Keep perspective — Ask “What did you learn today?” instead of “Did you win?” Let’s emphasize growth, fun and teamwork.

By following this code, you help build a community where every athlete feels encouraged, respected, and excited to play. Failure to adhere to this code may result in losing spectator privileges for future Summer Slam games.

ALL PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE

  • A Summer Slam jersey or basketball.

  • Modified rules (EG: equal playing time) to ensure equal playing time and optimal development for each athlete.

  • Developmentally-appropriate coaching from age-specific trained coaches.

2026 FINE PRINT
