ABOUT US
West Richmond Summer Slam Basketball Program is a grassroots developmental basketball experience featuring developmental-based leagues and camps for players of all skill levels. Summer Slam provides children and youth heading into Grades K-12, the opportunity to partake in an inclusive environment, where positive relationships are promoted through the vehicle of sport.
We are a non-profit recreational sports organization operated by the West Richmond Community Association.
The program has been successfully delivered since 2003 and in 2025 featured over 405 unique participants.
LEAGUES
Want to enhance your skills and have a great time this summer? Summer Slam offers a seven-week experience for athletes of all ages and ability levels.
Divisions Offered: Gr. 2/3 (Small Ball), Gr. 5/6 (For Girls), Gr. 7-9 (For Girls), Gr. 4/5 (Boys), Gr. 6/7 (Boys), Gr. 8/9 (Boys), Gr. 10-12 Recreational (Boys), Gr. 10-12 Competitive (Boys).
VOLUNTEER
Love basketball and want to give back this summer? We need coaches, scorekeepers and officials so step up and get ready for an another amazing summer in a variety of roles.
CAMPS
Week-long skill development camps led by our team of energetic and qualified coaches.
Age groups offered: Gr. 2/3, Gr. 4-6 Boys, Gr. 6-8 Boys, Gr. 6-8 Girls-Only.
